Reminders to our Customers:
Don't Be Confused about your Domain Renewals!

Domain renewals are confusing so don't be fooled. Domain Registrars have gotten a lot more aggressive with their tactics to steal domains from other registrars. The latest round is reminiscent of the long distance phone company wars that 'slam' your domain without fully disclosing what they are doing. They manage this by frightening you into believing that your domain is about to expire. One of the most aggressive companies lately is the Domain Registry of America. Sounds patriotic, doesn't it? Well, they are ringing up big sales by using confusing invoices and selling practices, so don't be fooled. If you have registered your own domains, please beware. Note your domain registrar at the time of registration and only pay invoices directly from this registrar, unless you are ready to make a switch.

If Visual Data Systems has registered your domains for you, your domain will be registered by Network Solutions/Verisign. We do not register domains through any other registrar unless specifically requested by you. Unless you are listed as the billing contact for your Network Solutions/Verisign account, Visual Data Systems acts as your paying agent and will bill you before the domain renewal date. Visual Data Systems will make payment to Network Solutions/Verisign for all paid renewal invoices. If you no longer want to keep a domain, please mark your renewal invoice 'Do Not Renew' and return to Visual Data Systems.
